So we used the B6 UA Club today. At the terminal level you need an attendant to call the elevator for you if you want to use that over the escalator.

But then at the club level going back down anyone can use the elevator. There were 4 options to choose from, so we went with the one with a star. It took us down to baggage claim level. We quickly pushed another button and got back to the terminal level.

Does ORD have a secured area on the baggage claim level in that area? I guess the answer has to be yes, but we didn't want to chance any national security issues by venturing out there

Yes. ORD has a secure area on the baggage claim level. Had you left the elevator, there would have been sliding doors that lead out to the baggage claim and TSA guys sitting in chairs there "guarding" the doors.

Had rib sandwich today. I can't imagine it's even close to what you get at the actual restaurant. I sure hope that's not what Dan has been raving about. Ribs chopped up to almost invisible pieces.

Not everyone likes the same thing. Thats why menus have a variety of foods.

Does anyone know how much parking is at the Field Museum? I'm looking to go this Sunday but I'm debating if I should take a cab instead of renting a car.

Also, are there any restaurants close by that are open on Sunday. I'm planning to go Milt's for dinner but would be interested in going somewhere else for lunch.

uber is really cheap in chicago.

Even if landing at MDW. I'm still mulling over if I want to make it to Romanian. uberestimate.com is showing that as ~$40.

MDW is much closer to Field Museum than O'Hare, so yes -- definitely UberX. You should do Milt's for lunch, Shallots for dinner. Or Milt's for lunch, Milt's for dinner. (No, there aren't any other options)
