I am surprised a kosher restaurant would take such a strong stance. I am all for tolerance and being accepting of others.  However, to hang a  flag that represents a lifestyle that is explicitly contradictory to the Torah has me confused. Thoughts?

Unreal. Just loving the comments of such a "kiddush hashem" , and what "a beautiful mitzva".
Really? Something blatantly against the torah is somehow a kiddush hashem? More like a chillul hashem.
Bl"n will never eat there ever again. The CRC should pull the hashgocha.

They're heavy on the food, light on the activities. But yes, I saw the part where you said the segway tour was good.
It's Chicago.
Like LA or Miami, the highlights and main things to do are the food.

So where would you suggest going for 3-4 day trip?

Agreed. That said, with the controversy surrounding their hanging of a rainbow flag at their restaurants, would you still patronize Milt's?

Impossible question without knowing what you enjoy doing and where you've been.

Read through the thread ;D

It's all a matter of perspective. If you are a self proclaimed foodie, all you see is food. If you are a naturist, that's all you see. Etc etc

I have. And there isn't.
I could spend a month in a place like Banff or Hawaii and not get bored, despite there being no food.

You may be more of a nature guy. I'm sure someone into architecture and city life can spend plenty of time in a city like Chicago.
But I hope everyone can agree that Chicago (and Miami) has more to offer than just food .

Chicago would be attractive for people who are very into sports. One day could be Bears football and another day, the Cubs or the Bulls.
Then you only have 2 days remaining. Shallots, Milts, Lake Shore Drive biking, boating, roller blading, and beach/swimming are good.
There are a lot of speed boats, and jet skis.
(Same as any other water city -- not exclusive to Chicago, but 4 full days of ORD activities for adults.)

But you do know that Bears/Bulls games are not all day long.

On the museum front alone:

On the museum front alone:
Shedd
MSI
Field
Planetarium?
Art Institute

Also:
Millenium Park / Maggie Daley Park with kids
Oak Park for Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture (if you are into that)

Nature is not a great point admittedly, but a 1.5 hr drive around the lake gets you to great beach towns / huge dunes in Michigan.

If you count museums then any city can have a week worth of activities. I've been to maybe a handful of museums in my life that were actually enjoyable.

Adults go to zoos without kids? Did I miss the memo?

I'm seeing 1-2 days max in your list, at least for me. If you love museums, sure, enjoy the week.
