If you want to have some variety, I would recommend:
(1) Bebe's Kosher Deli for lunch day 1
(2) Evita Argentinian Steakhouse for dinner day 1
(3) Milt's BBQ for lunch day 2
(4) Shallots for dinner day 2

Not going to be there for dinner on day 2. what would be your updated suggestion?
are there any dairy places for lunch?

I'm a huge fan of the regency downtown, stayed there more times than I can count. There are 2 kosher restaurants downtown, bebe's and Metro Club. Take note both of those locations revolve around business hours. Without traffic you are about 20-25 minutes from all of Chicago's kosher food and community. There are plenty of lots around where you can park overnight for less than the hotels rate and depending where you stay may not be too far from the hotel.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Bebe's has a dairy side if you're downtown. But I would skip and just do Milt's, Shallots, and Evita.

how does the Intercontinental compare to the hyatt regency downtown?
I have both IHG and hyatt (anniversary) free nights and trying to decide which one to stay at...
Also factor in parking options and likelihood of complimentary uprgade...
Stay is for tomorrow so I need some quick input please.
Thanks!

Shallots has no availability for the day I'm looking for. Is there a work around? And what is the other choices?

They are booked solid? Maybe there's an event, because that doesn't sound right. Which day? Evita and Milts are places to try as well.

They have some really good burgers on the bar menu. And they supposedly have some good ones off the menu as well.
