Ask others for their opinions, as I'm not a huge ribs guy to begin with. I have a particular taste. Definitely explore the starters (nachos, empanadas, pretzel bites, wings).

Is the river walk safe at night? If I'm in the loop/mag mile area is there crime at night to worry about?

Overall, yes. Still, like anywhere, be vigilant. Lots of homeless hang out nearby.

Not sure what makes a bar "good" as I'm not a big bar guy. I've always like the Big Bar at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker. Tons of seating both at the bar, and the lounge area.

Can confrim the milt's ribs are really good. This is the HALF slab. Not as "melt in your mouth" as izzys but it's still very good.

Any idea how long security takes at MDW in afternoons? Have a 610 flight (southwest), checking bags. My wife doesn't have pre check. Is 1:15 enough time? She can go to regular security line while I tkae care if bags and go to precheck.
