Ummm 1:15 - 6:10 is about 5 hours. Why would u need that long???

Anyone know where to rent laptops? My flight was cancelled. I can work remotely tonorrow if I just have a laptop.

Thanks to the weather and southwest I get to try another hotel in Chicago.

Hyatt centric the loop >>>Regency.

Regency rooms are dated and feel much smaller, worse bathroom and service is so impersonal.

The hotel is also huge. The only thing that looks better is the bar.

Holiday Inn Skokie (right near the Skokie Yeshiva) is one of IHG’s current points breaks, now bookable for only 10k points through 8/31

I’ve never been to Chicago and will be at a 2 day conference downtown starting 11am ending the next day at 4. Can the experts please help me with a few logistics:
1. How long is the trip from ORD to downtown? will an 8am flight from ewr/lag work? Is a 6pm flight out feasible?
2. Where is the closest place to Daven and grab a bite to eat (Cholov Yisrael and/or strict hechsr meat restaurant)
3. Uber or rent a car?

There is an orthodox ish shul downtown - loop synogouge. They have a mechitza. Bebe’s downtown is under the cRc. Metroklub is also there (I think under a different hechsher but enforced by the cRc). Othweise milt's is the next closest place to downtown (15 min ride without traffic).

Ubers are inexpensive.

Flew in and out of MDW, sorry. I'd budget at least an hour to ORD at that time, so it's tight.

Double tree Skokie should be. You might be lucky and even have minyan at the hotel.

Holiday inn Skokie is right next to Skokie Yeshiva (and they run camp in the summer).
