Planning a trip for all star weekend in Feb. Looking for hotel help. I prefer Park hyatt because I can use a TSU but it seems far away. Does anyone have an idea of where the players will stay? Any recommendations for a hotel close to UC?

There aren't really nice hotels in that part of town... Best bet to either be near kosher or downtown... I didn't stay at PH but Centric the Loop is close to Bebe’s (not open in weekends) and takes Hyatt CC nights.

Don't know off hand, but check Chessed lavrohom/eichensteins/Torah vchesed on Devon. They usually have multiple different minyanim. Godaven may have better info.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

There is nowhere remotely close. An Uber from bibis is probably your best bet, but it's far.

I need to be in Chicago next Friday morning - I'm flying in and out for a day, and the earliest flight back from Chicago to NJ that I could make is a 2pm flight that gets me into EWR at 5:10pm - with no flight delays... and it seems that this flight is often delayed an hour or more.

I booked the flight and am hoping to make it, but if I can get stuck having to stay in Chicago or Shabbos, what are my options? Any thoughts or ideas?

Do you have anyone here that can ask to tentatively host you? If you are in a pinch, there are plenty of places to turn. I personally don't have the space, but there are hachnosas orchim houses available, and hotels within walking distance of shuls. Holiday Inn on Touhy, near Shallots is one. You're welcome to PM me, and I can give you my number, and if you end up stuck here, I'm sure I can pull together a shabbos for you. I just took a 5:30pm flight ORD-CMH last Friday...dont ask me how it went

Thanks so much - good to know I have a backup, very generous of you! I heard that flights from Chicago are notorious for being usually delayed - is this true? I would be flying out of MDW...

For starters, MDW is well over an hour from the northern parts where fym communities are, so you'd have to leave yourself time to get back.

True - the flight is 2:00, so if it's delayed, say, more than 90 min and I choose not to fly, it would still only be 3:30.

If you're delayed on the tarmac, that's not going to help as they won't let you off.
