What's the best local pizza?

Separate question - where's the best place for vegetarian/vegan options?
[/quo

We have 2 pizza shops in West Rogers Park, Chalavi (Aka Main Pizza) and Tel Aviv Pizza and two in Skokie, EJ's Pizza and Sarah's Brick Oven Pizza. Lots of different opinions on which is the best.
For vegetarian/vegan you can go to Emma's cafe in Skokie or Bond Coffee Shop in West Rogers Park.
Don’t know if you specifically need dairy vegan options. But I’ll share that I recently found out that kens has expanded their vegan menu and I’m told it’s good.

No complaints there. Found it quite fine on Motza"Sh a few weeks ago.

There is kosher available at Mccormick place, but I don't know if it's at every show.

We will be in Chicago for 24 hours, from tommorow night until Thurs night. We would like to see some of the typical attractions near the water, and maybe go to Shallots or Milt's.

Questions:
1. Is it worth renting a car?
2. If not, where should I stay that would work out the best regarding going to downtown Chicago and also being able to store my luggage when I check out Thursday morning so I can pick it up in the way to the airport. If we don't rent a car I don't see us schlepping our luggage with us.

In general, where should we stay? Marriott or Hyatt preferred.

Thank you.

if you go to milts you can Uber from your hotel downtown, if you want to go to Shallots you might want to rent a car.

There are no dairy restaurants close to Botanical Gardens. The closest would be EJ's or Emma's in Skokie which is around 15-20 min away.

Can confrim the milt's ribs are really good. This is the HALF slab. Not as "melt in your mouth" as izzys but it's still very good.
I’d Rate Izzy’s Dino Rib a 9 and had Milts for the first time last night and would probably give it a 6. Totally different leagues.

Worth trying out or stick to Shallot's?

I was completely underwhelmed by shallots. More expensive than Mike's in NYC for much worse food and service. Was good, but not $250 for 2 good.
