Not crazy about their fries. You either love them or hate them. I like plain steak fries, these almost taste like there is a batter..

I'm thinking of hopping over to Chicago tomorrow morning with my wife for the day. Milt's is closed today (duh) so I can't make a reservation; What are the odds of me being able to get a 5 PM reservation if I call tomorrow morning? Or are they THAT hard to get a table at?

I think you'll be fine (especially that early). If you have trouble getting a reservation, shoot me a pm and I'll see what I can do

Great America
The botanic gardens
Navy pier (has fireworks weds and sat nights and some rides)

There are also scenic/architectural boat tours down the Chicago river which are nice (as long as its not boiling outside  :)

Check groupon for discounted fun activities

I tried making a reservation a couple days ago for dinner at Milts ten days in advance and they had just two available slots after 5:30pm. Apparently you have to book way in advance if you want to get a reservation for your preferred time

Very tough during peak times.  Luckily they're open all day and don't close in between lunch and dinner.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
