Just to update on Kosher food at MDW. Was there on a delayed stopover and literally checked through every store for food (at least every store in the SWA terminal). The best we could find was cereal cups and milk in a store in the food court. We also found a random restaurant that has Kosher pre-packaged cheese cake slices in the fridge, which was quite surprising. From some places called Eli's or something. Anyway it was $3.50 for each slice, so we decided to keep looking till we found the cereal.

Quote from: Milt's
Dear Friends:

I want to share a touching Milt’s moment from two weeks ago.  We had the privilege of giving a father and his son an unforgettable experience: tickets to their first Bulls game and a BBQ dinner that was, in their words, "fit for a king."

These individuals are far from kings.  Due to life's circumstances, they cannot afford a night out – ever.  I cannot imagine a better use of extra tickets to an event that many of us can attend as often as we desire.

I'm writing to invite you to be partners with me in a new outreach program, “Milt’s Night Out.”  If you have any extra tickets to sports events, theater, concerts, opera, or anywhere else, please let us know.  With the help of the nonprofit organizations we support, we will give your donated tickets to people who need just that kind of break, as they are battling disease, struggling financially, or experiencing some other type of major hardship.

You'll get a tax deduction for your donation*, and Milt's will treat the ticket recipients to dinner.  Please contact Renata at renata@miltsbbq.com or (773) 661-6384 to discuss tickets you are able to donate.

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and support.  Together we can continue to do more and more for our community.

Best regards,

Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

my sister always complains that if you're hungry after 9pm in chicago, you have to cook. Nothing there is open late.
