we are also staying at hyatt mccormick who is also giving us a breakfast credit "We use a restaurant called Hy Life Bistro, if you would like to make selections there menu is on line." When I asked the Hyatt how much can I spend, the manager wrote "Do not worry about the cost."

wasn't planning on it. However, if you are given an amount you can spend (i.e, $30 like at Park Hyatt) should I spend the entire $30? We are eligible for $90 all together (3 people in the room)

I've heard that they are fantastic. One of my tour guides mentioned that one of the best views I'd from the John Hancock building. Apparently if you go up to their lounge you look down at the fireworks.

Will be at the Q Center over Chol Hamoed for work training.
Is the Q Center near the Jewish areas at all?
Any idea who caters the Kosher food there so I can call and request food that can be eaten outside a Succah?

Well, they're going to be getting us Kosher food. I'll try to find out who is catering it and then ask them to send food that doesn't need to be eaten in a Succah.

Well the company is going to order us Kosher food. My issue is not having a Succah to eat it in.

Or, or, buy a smoker on amazon and have it delivered to your hotel, and smoke your own meats, and then sell it on ebay when you leave.

Agreed
The architectural boat tours down the Chicago river and lake Michigan are cool. Just make sure it's not a Boiling/humid day outside. Lots of times there are groupons for these :)
