Iv tried it all and still suffer.
I did shots for two years, total waste of time!
I have tried every single type of pill and some herbal remedies.  Currently I manage on a nasal steroid spray, a 12 hour non drowsy decongestant. I also switch of btwn claritin, zyrtec and alavert. Plus I use eye drops Ketotifin. :'(

Im looking for something els that will actually work!
try pseudoephedrine

Allergies kicked back in yesterday. I popped a knock-off Claritin first thing today, and b"h like usual, was sneezing the entire Shacharis, but have been fine since. (Usually kicks in after an hour.)

Flonase is great. It is a steroid and doesn't have instant relief though.

Sorry to ChurnbabyChurn that I didn't see this thread last year...
2 answers for you...
I used to take Reactine when I lived in Canada (supposedly there are allergy meds here that are comparable, but none ever worked for me)
Since it got too hard to get, and I heard there was another option... (I know you don't go for quackery, but here you can feel results) try loading up on quercetin... Take these https://www.google.com/#q=kosher+quercetin+bluebonnet + eat this http://voices.yahoo.com/the-best-food-sources-quercetin-10494821.html
Good luck to all with your allergies, I've had them really bad in past but BH no more...

p.s. If you try the above and it doesn't work, it is prob bec you got the flu shot  :P
Il look in to it, Thanks

Seasonal allergies should not have anything to do with gluten allergies. If you can eat gluten in the winter...

ime that's with fruit that contain pollens similar to the ones your allergic to. Like sometimes if I eat a plum my mouth gets numb!

Sudafed is the only thing that works for me, but after a few days of taking it I start getting nosebleeds 3+ times a day.. Does that happen to anyone else?

I've heard that if you eat honey made from local bees it helps too.

I see you are on Long Island, do you have them bad? I'm staying in Long Beach for a few weeks and I thought with the ocean air I'd be clear, but I'm suffering still. It's not nearly as bad as Virginia where I grew up (the second spring starts, a yellow cloud descends and covers absolutely everything for weeks), but it's still not fun..

Don't think that allergy season has hit OH yet, but I'll start taking Quercetin today in case it's coming this week... I take https://www.google.com/search?q=bluebonnet+quercetin&oq=bluebonnet+quercetin&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.7568j0j8&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 on empty stomach. (This is a repost)

Have y'all thought of going a non-conventional way?  Allergies are your immune's way of fighting back and saying, "Hey, don't invade me (to the enemy allergen), I'm going to fight you with all I've got."    Most people's bodies don't see the allergen as an enemy as your's does.  If your body didn't see the allergen as an enemy, you probably wouldn't have allergies either.
