LMS - Last Man Standing.. Not FMS (First Man Standing) - This game is for night time only, not morning, afternoon, or evening.. NIGHT TIME ONLY!!

At night while most of the world is sleeping there are some members which are looking to socialize since they have no one else to speak to; they play a really exciting and fun game which basically every couple minutes you write a comment, the comments range from standing to sleeping, from young grasshoppers to old grasshoppers. it usually begins around 1:00 am EDT

RULES OF THE GAME:

1) Game starts at 1am Eastern, 12am Central, 11pm mountain, 10pm pacific... You get the point.
2) Anyone can call a roll call, just make a reply with "Roll Call". The roll call must be readable to the naked eye.
3) No more than one roll call every thirty minutes.
4) You have 30 minutes to respond to the roll call to stay active.
4a) If you miss a roll call at any time you are disqualified for the rest of the night.
5) To respond to a roll call just post a reply with "Here." (Anything can be considered a valid response as long as it's clear that you are
responding to the roll call and not just posting in the thread.)
6) If after one hour there are no more "Roll Calls" or "Heres", then the last person to post correctly either by calling a roll call or with a reply of "here" is declared winner of LMS.
7) You must have been awake for at least 12 hours before making or answering a RC. (This rule does not apply on Saturday night.)
8 ) You are not allowed to have notifications for this thread or any member in this thread. pending approval
9 ) LMS is not played on Friday nights.

10 ) Rules may not be edited, skewed, changed, removed, or hindered in any way by anyone without sheriff stature, or without the explicit unanimous agreement from said sheriff(s). See bylaws.
11) There is no rule #11

OR IN SHORT:

When someone calls for a roll call. No more than one every 30 minutes and you have 30 minutes to respond "Here".

Sorry to hear

Bear in mind that many airlines have bereavement policies. Although it won't get you much, it may help recover some of the losses.

Definitely worth a shot.

United wanted 300 change fee. they claimed no bereavement fare. Ended up booking a separate ow with BP.

Then called amex and they canceled the 2nd half of the original ticket and said there is a united credit for that amount. But will need to pay the $300 fee if I try using it. I will deal with trying to get that waived later. I think I did all I need to for tonight. Now just need the adrenaline to calm down.

Good luck. I couldn't get them to back down with the fee, but I was told that there was no valid reason for the cancellation. You should be able to get it back.
