Traveling through Moscow to TLV

Hi,

Does anyone know if you're flying Transaero NYC - TLV with a layover for 4 hours in Moscow if you need a visa?

You only need a visa if you were too leave the airport. Which will be kind of hard anyway since ur stopover is only 4 hrs.

+1 my brother flew from TLV to JFK via Moscow and didn't need any visa. But he couldn't leave the airport.
