I found these two articles... much of it I knew already...http://finance.yahoo.com/news/frequent-flier-miles--best-airlines-for-cashing-in-200357859.htmlhttp://travel.yahoo.com/ideas/free-things-on-planes-you-didn-t-know-you-could-get-193058348.html
Such BS."United has availability 80% of the time, but US air only 36%".Can someone explain how someone can write that?

If you knew that already then I'm afraid to tell you that you know a whole lot of BS.
Actually at the time of the post I had only skimmed that article, but was referring to the 'free things' article when I wrote "much of it I knew already..."
I've asked for wings half a dozen times for Rafi. Never got a single pair.
Dan a persuasive guy like yourself couldn't pull it off?
Pull what off? Something out of thin air?The times that I've asked they've told me that they haven't done that since before 9/11 or since I was a little kid, etc.
My nieces and nephew got wings last time they flew. Can't remember what airline. I think it was LH.
I'm sure there are airlines like LH that would still have 'em (Heck SQ gives free toys to all kids on the plane) but the domestic airlines don't AFAIK.
+1 I was jealous by the package some kids were getting on SQ! Such a great airline.
I usually ask and bring home for kids
