I booked an AC/UA itinerary with orbitz, AC Flight was delayed, and therefore connection to UA Flight from EWR to TLV was missed, purchased a full fare ticket with EL-AL at the airport ticketing desk (next united flight would arrive to late) will i get reimbursed? whom is it that i need to contact AC? UA? orbitz?

depends who the ticket was from, but you did this without asking United?

AC at the airport said will have to contact AC Refunds, i hope they noted it on the reservation.

Ticket was purchased on Orbitz, Ticketed by United, 3 segments by AC 1 Segment by united

You should've had an AC rep liaison with UA.

instead it was the opposite, i had a UA rep liaison with AC to reinstate the return flight

One way with elal was somewhere around $1700 RT Was 1300, booked a RT but still wish to take AC for return as EL-AL will only go to NYC, and final destination is YUL

Got a response from AC:

Please contact the carrier associated with the ticket stock and they will be able to assist you with your Refund Inquiry.
