I don't really, but it says paid and you get an email confirmation, and I did it about 6 times, never heard anything...

ok so for all those that got tickets in Jerusalem, if you go online within 24 hours, you'll see that there is no mandatory amount set to the ticket yet...
you can pay 1 shekel to satisfy the ticket.
(just be sure to give a fake passport number just in case:)

Pay it. The car rental company handling fee is almost 100shekel.

I've done it.  How would I know if it's worked?

I don't plan on it. Help me figure out how I can make sure Eldan won't charge the CC for the fine + service fee.

simple. because you have 90 days to pay the ticket. eldan wont even receive a notice before then, and by then ,they don't have your credit card anymore, once they close the rental contract.
