True. I was referring to El Al.
Well, at TLV last night, I tried hiding my rolling bag behind the counter. The agent asked if I had "any other carry-ons
besides your briefcase" so I was pretty stuck. I weighed it (it was 8.5 kilo)
and she tagged it. Before boarding, the gate agent asked if I would like to check my rolling bag. I said "no thank you" and she said that "next time, you can only bring one carry-on aboard". My question is which next time she was referring to.
I honestly don't understand how El Al expects to charge premium prices for such a cheap and mediocre product. The only edge they really have is the scheduling (leaving JFK at noon is nothing short of awesome) and their alleged security. Otherwise, their planes are really old, their mileage program stinks, and they just become more and more unfriendly as time goes on.
