(Taking into consideration climates, babies, travelling just with hand luggage,...)

I'm sure most of you had already some ingenious idea, that helped a lot, and some things you shlep around every time but have never needed in the past 10 years.

Unless you have single tips, or tips for singles, try to summarize per category, so that it will be easy to overlook.

Good idea, although, I manage to estimate b"h pretty well.

if its something that goes in the luggage and I'm taking towels along, I will wrap the food in the towels.

This is a lot thinner then towels, but to each his own.

I've brought frozen food without any towels, etc. flying to Hawaii with a double connection a few times and it was still frozen upon arrival.
Granted that I've only gone during the winter...

We do go to LAX every year in April with frozen food and then drive 2 hours to Palm Springs and the food has always arrived frozen.

The trick is just to freeze the food a few days before leaving so that it gets to a deep freeze.

pretty unusual, for me at least, to be taking food and towels along.  If I'm going to a place where food is not so accesable I'm usually staying in a hotel that provides towels and if I'm going to somewhere where I need my own towels it's a place where I can prepare my food there.

When traveling with and infant, theyre entitled to diaper bag plus a carryon, in addition to the stroller and car seat that u r entitled to check for free.  Check each airlines t &c, but, to the best of my knowledge, at least domestically, this is what you get. Additionally, when you walk down with a stroller, as least from experience, they do not check inside your stroller to c if u hav a carryon for the kid...

I've got one digital one and one analog one! When I moved to Israel I had 6 suitcases, each weighing exactly 70 pounds. And when I say exactly, I mean EXACTLY. SF...try guessing that!

I've got one digital one and one analog one! When I moved to Israel I had 6 suitcases, each weighing exactly 70 pounds. And when I say exactly, I mean EXACTLY. SF...try guessing that!

C'mon, you always have to go a touch over to make sure you get something for free

If its in the belly of the plane at 30k feet, probably.

Each bag was marked either 32 or 32.5 KG, which is a smidge over 70lbs.

And...all 6 bags were at least 15 linear inches too big, which would've cost me $150 per bag (even *G)! But the nice lady behind the counter at YYZ was not concentrating too much, and, of course, we said tehillim in the car on the way to the airport.
