Dear DDF Community,

          I was pleasantly surprised by the total money raised. The generosity that you displayed was simply remarkable. I feel honored to be part of such a community. Everyone here was part of this great Mitzva. Everyone helped out in their own way. The adchdus, the unity, the devotion and the care is what makes us who we are. I don't think this could have happened on any other forum in the world!

           There is no way this could have happened without Dan. A thank you would not suffice. Besides hosting the "Jackpot", allowing for it to take place, and giving a beautiful donation, he brought us all here together. How many friendships were made. How many business deals were conducted and of course how many "deals" were nabbed. Thank you.

           Additionally, the anonymous sponsor who donated well over $1000, and drove up the sales of tickets, we could not have done it without you.

          Our friend HelpMe, although he disappeared still remains everyone best friend, thank you.

           Name Changed, Real-Brisker, Twin, CountValentin who really drove everyone crazy to  donate, thank you.


And to all the donors, look what every $18 or $36 can add up to!

IMHO the amount of money raised is also a reflection on the person that ran it. Pat yourself on the back, you deserve it!

I've noticed on the Count's sig that he still didn't get over the loss. Can we maybe get together and put up a fund for his new computer? we won't have to raise nearly as much, only $500 will do

Or even better: s/o explain why giving is never a loss, and that the reward will come from elsewhere.
