Where is a good place to shop if actually purchasing a car (accord) over a lease? Do the frum leasing companies also sell cars? Thanks for any info.

Craigslist. I believe most of the car rental agencies (Hertz, Enterprise...) have cars they sell.

Please don't take my question the wrong way, as i am sure you have done research on this. Why would you want to buy a new car opposed to a "newly used" car?
Don't new cars drop in price the second you drive them off the lot?

Type in zips from a few different places (21208/Baltimore seems to be cheap) and then use that price to negotiate for a better deal from a car dealer.
You can locate dealers and email them asking for the bottom line price and have then bounce their numbers back and forth until they get sick of you.  They'll want you to come in but just give your address and insist on an all-inclusive price.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

-A new car has an OEM warranty.
-You can negotiate significant savings by playing dealers against each other so you have much more leverage than on craigslist.
-You suggested Hertz/Enterprise.  Those are the last places you want to buy a car from!

So i'm assuming these add up to a better benefit than the decrease in value of buying a new car.

I guess after hearing what my friends have done to rental cars, i should have realized that.
