Como, Italy

Has anyone been to como, italy and does anyone have tips for what to see/do there, and which Hotel to stay in?

Only ever there a couple hours (trying to see as much of Italy on a 4 day break from yeshiva with 2 of those shavous). Lake Como is gorgeous!

Yes, 100%. There's also some palaces there which I think you can take a tour of (I think, I didn't do it). Back in the day they really knew malchus.

It is a beautiful place but I also spent only a few hours there. I found a relatively quiet place and jumped into the water while my wife watched. May be the most beautiful place I have ever been. However I did not find much to do there. And the hotels are known for being very pricey, it is a real tourist area.
If you plan on driving, it is a scary drive with a narrow curving windy road.

anyone ever been to lake garda (in between venice and milan.) i'm trying not to have to connect through milan to see lakes
