5 game series: Team with worse record has more home games.
6 game series: Even number of games in both parks.
7 game series: Team with better record has more home games.

What's the logic?

I'm not defending. But I was thinking that an argument could be made, that the homefield advantage is only meant for 2 teams that are so close to each other that they make it to a game 7. If you get beat 4-1 in a 7 game series (even if 3 out of 5 games were away) you don't deserve to win.

I know it's a little late but maybe it will help for the ws Monday we didn't wait about booked around 4 (8:00 start) and we paid $180 for outfield seats yesterday tickets were getting cheaper as the time for closer at 5:00 sharp (the time the game starts according to StubHub) they shut down the selling, today tickets were only going up as it got closer to the game. Hoping to get some luck getting tickets for the (if need be) Sunday game 5

What's the logic?

Home field advantage is all about who gets game 7. If the better tecord team loses in 4, 5, or 6, they had no advantage at all. Which is fine with me.
