If you come to see the Cubs in Cleveland I can tell/show you who he is...
By that time we all will know one way or the other.

Only baseball fans, ppl that watch ESPN, and ppl that follow the baseball threads on ddf will know...
FWIW he led the league in spring training home runs, and I just read another thread that had FWIW over ten times in one page...

Noticed over Yom Tov that Sports Illustrated picked the Indians to win it all in their baseball preview issue. 😁 #SIjinx

Wrong thread... soI didn't see post until a few days late... If you come to see the Cubs in Cleveland I can tell/show you who he is...I hate that logic, that in 7 years he'll remember being sent down to the minors for 9 games (to learn how to play outfield in real games). It happens to be a sign of respect, the Cubs are showing him how they think he is so good that their number one concern is having him in 6 years from now... Anyways, it makes for a very interesting beginning of this season. There are many things to see in Chi (one example is Olt who might/hopefully/possible be their starting 3B of the present and future, as he's young, a good fielder, and before an eyesight injury a few years ago, was a solid hitter and a very high level prospect). But, the AAA Cubs (Iowa) will have an insane team for two weeks including Bryant, Baez, Russell and Lake... To answer your Q, Bryant is the number one prospect, was a third baseman, and will prob be converted into LF now-ish...

Of course he's upset for his own selfish reasons.

Mets' Mejia banned 80 games. The 25-year-old Mejia released a statement through the players' union saying he knows the rules and accepts his punishment, but ''can honestly say I have no idea how a banned substance ended up in my system."

These guys must have an IQ of a turnip.

I'm hoping to check off 5 stadiums that I've never been to this year.  I try to go when the Yankees are in town but it's not a limiting factor.  CLE, DET, PIT, CIN, PHI, WAS, TPA, MIA are all prime candidates.

Went to Citizens Bank park.  It was nice.  Food was good, sightlines good.  Liked it better than Yankee stadium (not saying much).
