Would have been more interesting if Giles got to pitch. Oh well maybe later this week.

Bringing closer in when the game is tied hasn’t been going so good. 😂

Don't think Giles is the closer anymore. He barely could get outs in this series and would prob only pitch at this point if it were him or a position player (estimate 14th inning).

He's not the closer.

I disagree.
I think Kershaw wins the game tonight. (game decided by the time he leaves)

This was looking good until about 8:30.

Just watched the condensed game on Youtube from MLB - I was struck by how many questionable called 3rd strikes for LAD they showed, with the K'd batter having a word or a look for the ump each time. Was that representative of how the whole game was called?

imagine how many runs would have been scored if the umpire wasn't calling a significant amount of balls as strikes.

Was the same for both teams. The umpire has the biggest strike zone of any umpire in the league.

Game would be in the 37th inning with 1500+ HR’s

Not according to the pitchers. Many late inning stares on ball calls.

  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Looks like a few more egregious strike calls against the dodgers, but a few egregious ball calls against Houston.

OK I will check the pitching stats and get back to you. Do they track bonehead decisions by managers?
