I have seen these charts before, and I don't understand how the vertical lines (from 1.5 to 3.4 feet here?) of the boxes are drawn here, as by mlb rules, that is not the strike zone. It is a subjective measure and depends on the height of the batter.

Correct. This is also why we can't trust tv trackers (fox trax etc) for high/low calls which stay static for judge and altuve.
The TV trackers are using the same pitch f/x data, iinm.I feel like there is an easy answer we are missing. It's too obvious a problem.

First of all, I think some (if not all) of them switched to Statcast. But more importantly, does Statcast (or PITCHf/x) stay static, or does it adjust for stance in some way?
