Which is why teams that have a good hitting short stop are at a huge advantage. That doesn't apply to pitchers.
Madison Bumgarner, Jake Arrieta, Travis Wood, Greg Maddux. Also, some pitchers are good bunters.

Being a good bunter is like being good at giving likes on DDF. It makes people feel good, but it's not all that useful.

I kid, I kid.

Which is those pitchers are in the lineup on non pitching days?

That didn't answer the question
He pinch hit in the playoffs. Pretty close.
Once on the topic, there is Otani - I'd love see him in the NL, but he so far expressed interest in playing for AL team so he can DH on non-pitching days.

Otani is the closest. And he hasn't done it yet. Pinch hitting isn't even a .180 hitting SS. The best hitting pitchers are still only good for being pitchers.

How about we have two DH's then? Who wants to see a SS bat who has an average of .180?
The worst average in baseball this year was above .200. (arguably) The worst hitter overall was pujols, and even he hit 23 home runs.

Everyone knows you can't make it in MLB below the Mendoza line (.200).

Rag on wanting the DH all you want but the issue is the wimp managers. You got one manager that believes his starter shouldn't face the rotation for a third time. How many complete games have you seen in the world series? You have the best pitchers in the league going at it and no complete games.

Here near Flushing, we still remember one manager who tried for a CG from his SP 2 years ago today, and we still hate him for trying.

So that's why they lost game 5 and the series 4-1? I am sure Familia's three blown saves, first pitcher in WS to do that had nothing to do with it.

ETA: Lets not forget the bonehead play to let the game be tied!!!

True

Not true, and surprisingly silly. He really blew one save, and assuming you watched, you know that. He allowed inherited runners to score on absurd defense. That's a long way from an actual blown save. His postseason ERA for the 2015 playoffs, including that WS was under 1. That said, his one real blown save was especially bad and damaging.
