@Dan, do you think it's dumb because it will be nearly impossible to keep players/staff safe, because it seems inappropriate while the world is going through a pandemic, or something else?

On another note, what do you guys think of the expanded playoff format? I've complained in the past that I don't like it in other sports that half the league makes the playoffs, and I don't like it here. Do you think this is something that will continue in the future?

for sure not. i didnt even hear about the new format until just now but it makes sense. theres only 60 games so let more teams get involved in more intense games. I doubt it will continue after this year

What I really don't like about it is that you could theoretically run away with your division (in a 60 game season running away might be winning by 4/5 games), and then lose in a 3 game series and be done.

Juan Soto just tested positive. Previously was exposed, quarantined, was tested, and cleared. He has been with the team. This is the worst possible look for baseball.

It's a house of cards.

apparently he’s already taken 2 additional tests and tested negative. He still has to take tests from mlbs lab, 24 hrs apart, but more than likely the victim of a false positive

well msn got it wrong. they kneeled before the anthem. thats fine if they feel like it. Idk what giuliani is mad about.

It would be quite interesting to see when trump throws out the first pitch in august if hell be around when the yankees kneel (if they do that is, i assume they will though)
