it's good to be a Lubavitcher
All drabbanan? (I'm spitballing here.)
Guess most ball parks have a natural Eiruv? Potential Karfif issue?
They would be considered hukaf ldira
I mean, everything you do is tracked on the scoreboard, radar, etc.How is it not a psik reisha?
That's illegal
seems the shailos are not being asked now for first timehttps://www.jta.org/2021/04/23/sports/this-sabbath-observant-baseball-phenom-has-his-eyes-on-a-major-league-career-can-it-be-done
Seems they have different Rabbi's because Kligman won't play on Shabbos but Steinmetz would.Maybe they argue if פסיק רישא on a גרמא is אסור or if its עובדין דחול.

sorry, but no. Chilul hashem is chilul hashem. What will happen when those who celebrate this or others try to explain to their employer how orthodox jews can't just walk to their jobs on shabbos?
The same way I've had to explain to people why I don't eat in certain places or do certain things even though other people who are Orthodox (or consider themselves Orthodox) eat or do those things. The same way we all have to explain any differences between hashkafos to others. Since when is public judgment of someone else's orthodoxy what we're about?
Totally agree. People who claim to be shomer Shabbos and aren’t present a big problem for the orthodox community
