Baseball playoffs are very unpredictable, but if we're going by team strength you may as well just say that the Red Sox seem waaay better than the Indians. For me, it's very unlikely that I'll go to any playoff game, let alone out of Cleveland, but if there's a game that I would go to it would be game 5 if Cubs play in Cleve.

Isn't the World Series this year Gary Sanchez vs everybody else?

I could see many ddfers going. Am I wrong to think that WS tickets in Cleveland would be about 1/5th of the price of WS tickets at Wrigley?

After last night (Mets), I'm not sure I can ever watch baseball again.
Related to tickets, I was thinking that if Cubs would be up 3-1 in WS, Game 5 tickets would make GS/Cle G7 tickets look like pre-season minor league prices.

Would you agree they would be hotter than Hawks clinching SC tickets?

In the end of the day it's about supply and demand.
The Hawks seats 19,700.
The Cubs seat 41,268.

There's a finite number of people that can afford+have the desire to drop 4 figures per seat.

Will have to check with my son but either the nose bleed or standing room only was going for 1k. That was probably a couple of hours before game time. Needless to say I didn't sell my nose bleed seats.  :)

  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Day of Game if 3-1 Cubs?
Cheap. $100. Just my guess.

I doubt that.

Hey, I know some ppl broke the bank for those tix  ;), but THERE IS ALMOST NOBODY IN THE WORLD ALIVE who has seen the Cubs win the WS. Nobody under 70 saw them PLAY in a WS, and Cubs fans are among the most loyal in all of sports, nearly selling out every game while they were in last place season after season. A chance to see them win a WS, which I sort of hope happens, would be insane.
Red Sox tix in 2013 were well over $2000 a piece when they had been, and won, the WS 6 years before.
