I wonder if the change in start time for tonight's game will make a difference between seeing just "the first pitch", or also seeing "a first pitch". Theory being that since normal start time is 8:08 being bumped to 8:00 will they start lineups, first pitch, anthem etc. at 7:52 or 7:50. Also, since they've consistently started closer to 8:10, they may up to 7:50. Iyh, they have a few extra seconds in there that don't need to be filled by commercials.

There's another thread to advertise the predictions that you want to hear. The last post said 1 win to go...

...but it didn't say if that would be tonight. If only Hendricks was pitching at home.

Extra innings
Because of rain threats, extra innings would make things extra interesting as they can hypothetically have to wait for another day to declare a winner.

0% chance "a" first pitch is broadcast nationally those 25 seconds are worth serious $$$

Regardless of rain, it has a chance on happening on Nov. 3rd as well. Would just have to go for four hours.

My point is that there may be a "glitch" since the start time was moved up, by an odd 8 minute number.

OK I thought it was one of those hour moves.

That wouldn't be smart as far as ratings.

I'm talking about what Vegas is saying, not the actual odds of each team winning
