Not every day you get to see the catcher pitch and lob in 60mph slowballs.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

+1 and watching Giancarlo Stanton strikeout against CWS 3rd baseman was also funny. He even laughed his way out of the batters box lol

True. But let the 2015 Mets, the 2016 Indians, the 2010's Nats and so many other teams be a lesson that just because you make it far doesn't mean you'll be back. Sure, all the above teams can be back, and maybe the Cubs will eventually build that dynasty that BarryG spoke about, but you never know in this game. Everything has to click, with health, performance, luck, etc, and it doesn't usually happen every year.

Like I said (about the Yankees of last year, and the Cubs of 2016), you can be a 90-100 win team for four straight years, and make the NLCS three years in a row, but dynasties (as in winning it all multiple times) are quite difficult to achieve, hence my telling BarryG and others to slow down.

I think the Astros have a good chance at repeating.

The hitters are not hitting as they did last year, look at the numbers, I guess there pitchers will have to be lights out.

I do too, but I can also see Cle knocking them out in 4-5 games. That's all I'm saying. That to win, everything has to bounce/click right. Maybe it will, or maybe their lack of solid bullpen depth will catch up with them. Or maybe their best 2-3 hitters will have 15 bad ABs and that's their season. It's a hard game to win at consistently, esp with so many good teams and so many postseason teams.

I don't think CLE and NYY are as good as they were last year, and OAK is not built for a long series (though I'm scared of them in the WC game as a Yankee fan).

I think the only AL competition is BOS, but BOS feels like a great  regular season team who's pitching will get shelled in October. I also don't think there's a great NL team this year. 4/5 teams essentially had to fight to get it, and the Braves didn't face much competition in the NL East down the stretch so it's hard to get a feel that they're that good.

The NYY are actually better then last year! In offence especially, and I would say the Bullpen is a bit better this year.
