No question offense way better not sure how even compares gleyber/Stanton/voit/andujuar.....
The bullpen has been worse across the board except for Betances...just look at the numbers.

CC is down, sevy looked good but still walked way too many, even Tanaka struggled of late.

Tanaka has been better than last year, even with the games he struggled. Happ has been great as well. Pitching isn’t their strength (and is arguably more important in the playoffs ), but their pitching is not worse than last year.

At the end of the day, the Yankees are going to need to get to Sale at least once most likely in Fenway.

Their hitters need to hit. Their pitchers need to pitch. What’s new?

I hope those that had the A's at 250:1 put some money on the NY last night.

I think that Yankees have a very strong chance of winning if they pitch well enough to limit the Sox to fewer runs than they manage to score off Red Sox pitching. OTOH, if the Red Sox score more off Yankee pitching, the Yankees will certainly lose.

I was listening to the radio point out this stat which is pretty unbelievable - and I know all about the first time in... things that ESPN always tries to find - but this is the first time in 14 years that the Yankees and Red Sox will play each other in the playoffs.

Yeah, you get santana and i get Gray. Idk. Anyone have a good idea for a fun bet?

@ChaimMoskowitz Remember this bet?

Wow both players had pretty rough years. Gray was awful and Santana was injured (and not good in his few starts). So who won ? ;)

Yeah. Pre 2012 teams from the same division couldn't meet in the ALDS. And there have have only been a few years in general that it would have been possible.

Did we actually bet? If this condition you stated was met Gray won. Was the condition met?
*Both pitchers would have to be on teams with similar offensive numbers (bullpens harder to predict and more random)

We did bet but the Twins were a middle of the pack offensive team while Yankees were top 3. Also Santana only made like 6 starts although didn’t record a win in any of them. But next time you are in NY we can still grab some food...

These announcers are killing me. Bad news is you gave up four homeruns. Good news is they were all solo homeruns.
Newsflash: There is no good news with giving up four homeruns!!!
