Saving his arm for the Yankees next season.
Sorry to late.  :)
The Dodgers asked to not risk injuring his arm.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

147 days until Opening Day :(
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

MVP?
Must be Bryce Harper. He's #2 trending topic on Twitter right now.

Why do you say that? (Unless you are of course, an Astros fan) if you are an objective observer, this was a great series:
- The Underdog Won
- The road team won every game
- Of their 4 wins, the nationals took the lead in the 7th inning or later twice.

The games in Washington were boring.

I did not have a dog in this fight. Last nights game was a little exciting but other than the first game it sucked!!!
This was billed as these great pitching matchups. What happed there? I am not going to say who is eating crow on that one.

Washington's aces got it done - the 4 games they won were the ones started by Strasburg and Scherzer. Greinke pitched well in both of his games - who knows what happens if Hinch doesn't yank him so early in game 7. Cole had that one fluke of a stinker in game 1 and then dominated in game 2. And Verlander was really the odd man out, basically performing like an average pitcher instead of an ace. The rest of the starters, even if they performed great this season, have not established themselves as great pitchers.

Bullpens might have been even more important though. HOU was #3 in the regular season, while WAS was dead last. WAS thoroughly won the later innings in the WS.

Thanks for the recap but the question was what happened to the great pitching match ups we were promised that looked so great on paper. Wait don't answer that since the game is not played on paper.  :)

Also as a whole the series had way more intrigue than anyone imagined. Looked like the Nats could win in 5, followed by it looking like the Astros would win in 6, followed by a game 7 beginning that looked it would go terribly wrong for the the Nats, only for them to come back.
