Instead of marketing the amazing talent they have, they're doing all these stupid rule changes because they think the game is too long or something.

Eliminating warmup pitches for relievers who have already warmed in the bullpen will do a better job shortening the game than any of the recent rule changes.

That's what he's saying.
I mean...it sounds crazy until you realize that they were banging a garbage can in this scheme. Though, not sure it makes sense why the buzzer would be on the bat rather than on his body.

It's not a buzzer. It's an electro-magnetic fieldopoter. Without getting too technical, the "sticker" at the end of the bat senses the ball of of the pitchers arm before it hits its axis. The electro-magnetic force stagnates the spin rate ever so slightly and "pulls" the ball almost imperceptiblly towards the bat's sweet spot, allowing for harder contact and better launch angles.

This is why opposing pitchers' xWorp~  *decreased* by a .07 differential vs the Astros in day games and by a .079 in night games. (obviously, the magnetic dopplers are lower under lights.)
