Yup i sent an email to LS but have not gotten a response yet. I will give it a few days and then will consider filing a dispute with amex for $62.50

"I my self work for a large ecommerce business which is not Jewish and does not generally cater towards the Jewish community. A little while back a code for free items leaked out and we got 7500 orders… The decision was made not to send these out and instead we offered a 10% off coupon.
Our company felt that the type of customers that we would acquire are deal hunters and not the type of customer we go after in the first place. We didn’t suffer any hit or bad press as result and the company is still doing unbelievably well."

Honestly the whole story is very strange and the deal really did seem to be to good to be true the entire time.  I would think though that reading reviews on yelp  about bad deliveries and crazy high restocking fees will chase customers away but I wonder how many people will really get chased away from this.  I mean you didn't lose a penny.  If they are $20 cheaper on an item are you really not going to buy it from them just because your LS deal got cancelled?

Yes, and not because I am bitter, but because I see there poor customer service which is only corroborated by the Yelp reviews.
