I'm only a noobie, but this much I know.  For sure!  I heard it's best within 1 hour of denial, but anytime is better than none.  I was also under the impression that they are open 247.  Maybe an 'oldy' will pipe up and answer this.

But then you're maxing out you're card for the first three months that you have it. IMO that is not a good idea.

Just applied and got approved for Sapphire Preferred and SPG.
Got declined for Southwest and British Airways

BTW, did they say anything about all the cards?  What was their reason for declining?

Didn't talk to them yet. Probably some BS about too many applications, revolving credit limit etc.
Sapphire got 12k limit so I know I'm fine there.
