Nope, you are restricted to only 1 IHG consumer (Select, Traveler, or Premier) card.  However, you can get the IHG Business Premier card even if you have an IHG consumer card, which is slightly better (2 extra bonus categories).

Can I cancel the card ( I transferred most of my credit away have like $800 left) and then reapply in the same day?
Will Chase flag my account?

I have the ihg premier.
Seems like free night can go for at least 125, making it worth the 95 af.

I have the premier card and I was considering downgrading to the Traveler card for a prorated refund (just missed the 30 days for full). But I see that the traveler card has a SUB of 120k points is it worthwhile to just sign up for a new one and close the old premier one?

The premier has a 175K offer, so I’d suggest closing and reapplying for the premier.

Is there anyway to do this without the closing the IHG ( as in never close a credit card) and just downgrading or doing a product switch from the IHG Select?
