Annual night is nice, but that's not a reason to churn the card.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

how about the fact its one of few cards with no foren trans fees (together with prefered and ua).. not too many cards for us in israel to churn...
besides never heard of someone running out of churning cards- why not churn this one as well as others? why is it instead?

Of course not, b/c when you churn it, you have to wait another year for the free night.
This is a card to keep in your pocket if you value the free night.
Especially in Israel, where there are no Hyatt's, but a bunch of PC properties, including the David IC.

First of all, what's wrong with AP and GW, second there are other ways besides those two to meet thresholds easily. Come to the next DO and learn the trix of the trade.  :D

That's the only thing I use it for. I've been living here since I joined DDF, and churned dozens of cards without an issue.

Eta: This forum has an overabundance of info, no need for VR. I don't even have bluebird.

You only get the free night cert after each year's anniversary.
So if you churn it within 12 months, you don't get any.
(But you might get the 80k points each time.)

I haven't done as many amex as others (but that's because I don't think I can pass an FR so I take it slow). That being said, I don't think there are any cards that can't be churned just because we're not in the US.

I was referring to 80k points- which is more then a free night!
Sorry wasn't clear

Right but 80K points is worth far less than other signup bonuses.  Just crunch the value per point numbers yourself.

Nope.

PP sells points for 0.7cpp, so the market value would have to be less than that.

It's the only card in my arcenal for which I gladly pay an AF. What I personally like about PC card is a free annual night at any hotel and Platinum status. Staying at Times Square IC on my wife's birthday is priceless even if it's just a short hop across the river ;D. And even though the status is nothing to write home about, it makes it easier to match status with other hotel programs.

Who have you matched to ,and what status using PC Platinum. Thanks
