That's the only thing I use it for. I've been living here since I joined DDF, and churned dozens of cards without an issue.

Eta: This forum has an overabundance of info, no need for VR. I don't even have bluebird.

Overabundance   Been hanging out for 2 years . Care to elaborate .

I don't  have Bluebird or VR . Unless you mean AP and returning stuff any other tricks I missed ?

Are you saying you've been here for two years and still have trouble meeting a spend threshold??

That, btw, is a great site. The most valuable, I think, is matching to Hyatt Diamond before applying for the Hyatt card in order to get your free stay in a suite (although, yes, there are other ways to achieve that).

It's not difficult to have a difficulty (LOL) meeting nowadays spending requirements for free. Live in NYC with no access to Walmart and VR, get denied Amex Target (because they can't verify you, no less despite having 16-yr history with Amex >:() and here you are. I had never had to resort to pay methods of meeting spend in many years--but that was before my last AOR.

I am saying that in my first 2  years of getting lots of cards with high spends , I had to scramble , prepay bills, wind up with close to $3000 of VISA and Amex GC s , take advantage of friends that gave

me cash to pay our large dinner checks ,use Williampaid to pay my rent and MC with a fee to pay con edison , and have not really learned anything helpful here, that might not be an AA or FR risk . And yes I live in NYC .

Interesting. Where is there a Marriott 70,000 offer? I was asking about Priority Club though.
I SM'ed Chase mentioning i saw an offer for 70K and could i get matched. Responded a day later saying i would get an extra 20K in my account.

I here ya. NYC is an MSW: Manufactured Spending Wasteland. No VR. No WM. Not a single bastard (at least I haven't found one) will take a CC for a GC. And like paying 2.9% for rent is not enough, WP has screwed me with rent recently (yes, the lost-in-the-mail kinda screw-up). It used to be easy and fun, but it's become like a second job, lately.

Then again...

A (mostly) free trip to Europe 2 months ago. A free trip to Europe in a week. A free trip to Bermuda in July. A free trip to the West Coast and the Mexican Wine country in October. A free trip to SE Asia next January. A free trip to Cancun and Riviera Maya next Spring. And I'm sure I'll squeze in a couple more free trips between those, as well.

Just keep the eyes on the prize. It helps to deal with the aggravation. ;D

My free night posted very soon after the anniversary.
It actually showed up in my AwardWallet account, and the website makes it very simple for booking.

Chase used to match any offers in the last 90 days  . Not sure if that has changed

Mention it to them in SM
