Any recent reviews? Any point options on Capri?
I stayed there last year. The food is underwhelming, but much better than schlepping along tuna cans. There is no dairy, so breakfast is parve. I'll post some pictures later if I could.

The hotel is very nice, though if you're used to getting everything with points, it may be difficult to fork out the amount they charge. Also, book well in advance, as they fill up pretty fast.

Overall, Capri is a really beautiful place to visit.

Anyone Know price for breakfast at Tiberio Palace in Capri?
Trying to figure out if it's worth booking the room only rate and paying for breakfast - and if that is even an option?.. Google not helping me here...
Also - anyone thats been have any pics of what they serve?

I was in Amalfi Coast twice and ordered kosher food from Avigail Kosher Catering. It was great!
You can find them online and contact them by email. They usually reply after a few days so it is a good thing to contact them well in advance.

If your asking specifically about the kosher restaurant/menu, I believe its open only for lunch (12-2) and dinner (7-9)

So not sure if a kosher breakfast is even an option

When I was there a couple of years ago there was def kosher breakfast but it was pretty weak (as is most of the food there) and only for guests. Try emailing them and see if that has changed at all.

I'm heading to Italy Aug 9th, flying EWR-VCE, spending Friday & Shabbos in Venice, Sun-Mon in Capri, and plan on taking a driver up the Amalfi coast and through Positano & Sorento on Tuesday, dropping us off in Naples (early Morning Flight on Wednesday). Does anyone know of any driver's they can recommend for Tuesday? Would like to stop at the towns etc..

Any other tips for this itinerary from those who have been?

Capri in summer is a nightmare.  So many tourists.

Capri is fine year round. The tourist leave with the last ferry and Capri remains relatively empty and charming.

+1. Spend the day touring the surrounding mainland and enjoy the evenings there. You should of course leave a day to explore the island itself.

Were you there as a resident? Or did you mean day trippers

Day trippers. There are only a few hotels on the island and not remotely enough to make it feel busy.

In summer Capri is a nightmare.  It's so packed with tourists, that you can hardly move.  August is a no, as the place is swamped with italians on Holiday.
