Based on many DDF's, and let me quote Dan on this "Being in Venice and not stay there for Shaboss is a crime" or something like that.. so there you go

So far my list is as follows, for those of you who wanted an itinerary ( somewhat)
From Southern Italy up North
Amalfi coast
Positano
Sorento
Capri
Naples
Rome
Tuscany, Florence ( yes again ), Siena
Pisa
Cinque Terre
Portofino

And as we are going from city to city im sure well come accross quaint little cities for the night.
Any other suggestions?
Kosher in any of these cities besides Florence, Rome And Capri?
The thought of carrying 2-3 weeks of food stresses me out ( usually we take frozen meals from meisners caterers and its excellent) its just SO heavy
What is the best airport to fly into from NY and to fly out of from NY?
I have a chunk of Amex points ive never used, is it worthwhile to book this ticket using points? And who can help me with this, as ive never booked a ticket using points and possible upgrading to business class.
Any last minute European hotel websites that are good for booking the day ot the day before?
Where can i rent a car to do this trip? Any special rental codes or companies that i should search for?
Thanks all

I think the OU runs a kosher kitchen but it's only seasonal and for groups. I'm thinking of going to Italy after succos (from Israel) and could also use some ideas for food.

Has anyone driven through Tuscany? We're planning a trip for the beginning of July and would like to spend about 1.5-2 days driving from Rome to Florence through Tuscany.  I heard it was highly recommended and that you can find real off-the-beaten-path places to stay for less than €100/night.

Can anyone confirm?

I have 4 days to spend in Europe this summer and was thinking of picking a coastal town in Italy. Where would be the "easiest" place to get to in terms of travel and still being able to enjoy some beautiful beach towns?

Just went to the coast.

Gorgeous, would recommend for everyone.

We went to the shul in Naples. You should look for it a while before Shabbos as it is hard to find.

To answer my own question, its a really great hotel in a beautiful setting (views to kill). Location is right off the main square.

As hotels with in-house kosher go, its definitely the best option in Europe.

The Kosher food is 6/10 but they do a great job making sure you are accommodated and the service is really over the top by European standards.

There were approx 10-15 frum couples there so we barely had a minyan (no Sefer Torah either) and they said that most weeks there are not enough people for a minyan
