Getting rid of a show new replies to your posts

I have a feeling this has already been brought up but I couldn't find it in a search. When you click on get new replies to your posts, say there's one of the topics you DON'T want to see every time, but the other topics you do want to see, how do you get the one you don't want to see off hte list?

You have to check it and ignore it before you read it. If i want to ignore a thread, i'll read it and then click back on the browser and check off the topic...

Yes.

When you select "show new replies" on the far right of the topic is a little check box. Select the thread you don't want to see and then click the "ignore topics" button on the top line right side.

You need to check something off in settings in order to get the option to ignore threads. Do a search for it

You need to go to profile>Look and Layout, and from the drop down menu choose "Show Quick Moderation as Check-Boxes."

(menu on top) profile > forum profile  > (on left menu) look & layout     bottom choice: "Show Quick Moderation as Check-Boxes."

Just thought of something. When you click on not getting a particular thread anymore, maybe that would be only if you're not writing in it anymore, even though others are. Will that make it a permanent thing where if you write something there it won't show up anymore?
