Is Kleins the only kosher mix people are talking about? 
How many batches does this liquid mix really make? 
$12 for 1 lb (16 oz?) package of mix?
Any pareve mixes?

Yes. There are Parve mixes and there are also lowfat. Each carton is 1 gallon and each cup makes a full serving.

I don't know of any other brands. Does anyone know of non Cholov-Yisrael mixes? I tend to believe they will be cheaper...

It's hard to give a precise estimate, but it's probably more than that. It ends up being much cheaper than going to the ice cream store. Also, you can add your own toppings etc..., which is fun and yum.

Yup. That is a good estimate. It's a great investment IMHO, if you are going to actually use it, of course.
