Flying us airways out of Philly first class on points.  (one pass miles).  Does that ticket give me access to the lounge in the airport?

Only if its an Intl Flight
I'm not sure about US, but I know on AA,
"Destinations in Canada and other destinations in Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean are not considered International for the purposes of lounge access."

How about Hawaii with a stop in LAX?

UA like AA allows those flying the p.s. flights JFK-LAX or SFO into the Lounge even if you were Upgraded as long as youre sitting in Biz or FC you can get in

So a 1K flying say JFK-IAD-LAX will have no way in unless they are a RCC member or a Guest of someone that can Guest them in. Also a 1k who didnt clear into Biz can not get into the Lounge if flying the JFK-LAX or SFO p.s. flights

turns out the KEY to getting in is if a person is flying in ENVOY Class so if the plane to YYZ has Envoy you can access either the Envoy Lounge if there is 1 or the reg Lounge. If that plane has FC and its not called Envoy then no access into the Clubs. this was if the passenger isnt a *G, if they are a*G then the rules governing *Gs applys

What if the plane has Envoy to Hawaii, will the passenger get access?
I know with CO that if you fly in BusinessFirst to Hawaii (i.e. EWR-HNL and IAH-HNL) you do get access, but if you fly in First (i.e. LAX-HNL, LAX-OGG, SNA-HNL, SNA-OGG) you don't.

Of course the former flights don't have comp upgrades while the latter do.

I dont know US inside out but I do know they dont sell Envoy to HNL but rather FC so then the answer will be No access

and with that a Gut Shabbos to 1 and All (yes you too Dan)

I haven't flown them in years, but do they not offer Envoy on the CLT-HNL flight?

Although that is a great "envoy-equipped" product for the CLT-HNL route, it is considered Domestic First which means A: you cant order a kosher meal (I expressed disdain for that recently and was offered $100 in travel credits on US)and B: no access to the club in CLT. In HNL, the lounge dragons at the nearby CO Presidents club may look at it as being like BF and let you in so YMMV. At the time I was a PC member so used that to get it.

Some US airways flyers view this as being a light-envoy product, because the (treif) menu options are more extensive and include the ever important ice-cream sundae cart
