Same question from me.. Never fully understood what he meant.. I know he said to add a last leg like a couple of months later but some clarification would be appreciated

Basically you can book a one-way from Tel Aviv to Honolulu on American for 40K (via Europe off peak) or 45K miles (on El Al nonstop to NYC).
You ask to stopover in NYC for as long as you want.

EG:
Fly Tel Aviv-NYC on 06/30/13 on El Al.
Fly NYC-Honolulu on 11/30/13 on American (connecting) or Hawaiian (Nonstop).

The one-way ticket would be 45K miles.  And all dates are free to change.

You can also book
Honolulu-NYC on 12/14/13 on on American (connecting) or Hawaiian (Nonstop).
And then NYC to TLV on 03/15/14.
If NYC-TLV is nonstop that will be 45K or if it's via Europe it will be 40K.

But you need a RT flight w/ them to make it work.

I assume this must be done with all travel commencing 3/15/14 in example above and then change the HNL-NYC portion back to 12/14/13? Otherwise how do you do this online?
