I opine that that the difference between texting and posting in an online forum is vast. One is a private message generally read once, by one person, whereas the other is a permanent and public representation of your statement.

Anything that is being prepared for public consumption should be given care.

It's fine. Typos happen.

This thread is not condemning typos. It's condemning egregious lack of punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.
