Not sure what's wrong. Okay, so "throwed" is not a word. "Causes" "brake" & (most impressively) "petrified" are all spelled correctly.  :P

1) It's a run on
2) The tenses change from past to present
3) Yes, "throwed" is not a word
4) Brake is incorrect, the correct spelling for the use here is "break"
