Lol just looked at it again - it's accurate. The word "men" is already plural, so when you form the possessive of "men," you treat it as singular, as in a singular group called "plural men."

What bothers me most is the lack of an Oxford comma in "See ads on pages 51, 61 & 63" :P.

Assumed as much. The errors in that sentence are pretty glaring, but what's funny is that had the sentence been punctuated properly, the wording would actually be accurate.

You're right! is/are
When "suits" is the question...

Or rearrange to see if it makes sense: when the question is/are suits...
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Quote
The words you use and the way you say it is what people have to go on and how you come across, how knowledgeable you are is often judged by what you put out there. Be sure to carefully read what you write before posting, run it through a spell checker if you have to. But do keep in mind that a spell checker along won't catch the wrong words, because the word is spelled correctly but used improperly. Some programs such as Microsoft Word have grammar checkers built in rather than just a word by word spell check.

Oh the irony.

Indeed. Not to mention that the way that first sentence is written, doesn't convey too much professionalism, even if properly spelled.

:o Whoa!  Reading that first sentence is really a mouthful and a brainful with irony along alone the way!

The overuse of commas by certain people is starting to get on my nerves.

That's just using a comma instead of a period.

Why, pray tell, would the use of a comma, a small, tiny, almost insignificant punctuation mark, however excessive, bother you, a user who, incidentally, has a massive, horrific, glob of ear wax as an avatar, even slightly?

I wasn't aware that my avatar bothered you that much, I'll gladly change it for you.
