How much is the car? Maybe GW will be an option.

How about paying some or all with a CC?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

You may want to consider taking out a loan as the interest rates are pretty low like 2.7%

Speak to a car dealer about car loans.
If you want to pay in payments pay it with a 0% APR card, or you can open one for that purpose, if you're anyways paying it off right away pay him with Google wallet in 2 payments and your highest point earning card, or open 2-3 cards and earn signup bonuses.

Best not to take out a home equity loan on something that you're keeping for a much shorter time than you're keeping your house.  Or you'll be paying it off long after the car is gone.
In general, don't take out a loan unless you don't have the money or you're doing something else with the money you have on hand. Especially something money making.  Because 0% is less than 2.7%

I like Google wallet as your best option.  Opening new cards for bonuses sounds even better.  But getting the account number and info to be able to use the card may take time.  Amex is usually quick to send a card . I've found Chase to take a while.

if i use google wallet for a 15,000 puchase, would it be best to spread it out over several different credit cards?

Assuming the transaction would go through, i would think it would depend if you needed to meet spending thresholds on any of the cards.

I don't remember the GW limit, but I would pay out $15,000 over several payments, over time.  For each payment, you could easily use a new card.
(New literally, I hope :))

keep in mind that however you pay him u will want to be able to  prove that you paid for the car, u dont want him coming back later and causing any problems.

Obviously he can make you problems by claiming that you owe him money,  but it'll be no different than any random person in the street claiming that you owe them money.
