The root קדם definitely does imply relativity. It might not necessarily be relative to other individuals, but I would say that makdimin might be translated as precede, come ahead, put ahead, give precedence, etc. All of which are relative terms.

Of course it's relative to when you're able to do it, is just not relative to others.

That's what it translates as, but what it is a set of prayers said by some the day before Rosh Chodesh (new month)

It came from Google but I have learned especially when it come to Judaism it gets it wrong.

But you came armed with context, so you should have been able to figure out that it was a direct response for your suggestion to have a month Yom Kippur.

I would not consider Yom Kippur every month as "Minor Day of Atonement".
